Stephen King Novels - Part II

Stephen King with his reputation as "King of Horror and Terror" is one of the most prolific and popular authors of contemporary horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, crime, science-fiction, and fantasy. His books have sold more than 350 million copies worldwide, and many have been adapted into iconic films, miniseries, television shows, and comic books.

"The Mist" - A horror novella first published as part of the anthology "Dark Forces" and later included in King's own collection "Skeleton Crew" in 1985. The story is set in a small town in Maine and revolves around a sudden and unnerving phenomenon: a thick, unnatural mist that envelops the town and hides monstrous horrors within it. Story revolves around people stuck in a supermarket as mist rolls into town and envelops the store.

"The Shawshank redemption" - Story of Red and Andy Dufresne serving a life sentence in Shawshank State Prison. The prison escape of Andy and later Red being paroled from prison decides to find stone wall / black rock and an envelope containing money and letter from Andy inviting Red to find him. A story of hope.

"The Apt Pupil" - Story of Los Angeles teenager Todd Bowden and elderly German immigrant Arthur Denker who is actually a wanted Nazi war criminal Kurt Dussander.

"IT" - The story is an epic about childhood trauma, friendship, and overcoming fears, a chilling tale of an ancient evil that haunts the small town of Derry Maine. Central to narrative is the creature known simply as "IT," which primarily manifests as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
