On a hot summer day, a thirsty crow flew across the fields, searching desperately for water. He had been flying for hours, but there wasn’t a single drop in sight.

Just as he was about to give up, he spotted a pitcher sitting under a tree. Excited, he flew down and peered inside. There was water at the bottom!

But his joy soon turned to frustration—the water was too low, and his beak couldn’t reach it.

The crow tried everything he could think of. He pushed the pitcher, hoping to tip it over, but it was too heavy. He even tried to stick his head deeper, but it was no use.

Then the clever crow had an idea. He looked around and saw small pebbles scattered on the ground.

One by one, he picked up the pebbles with his beak and dropped them into the pitcher. With each pebble, the water level rose a little higher.

He worked patiently, dropping pebble after pebble, until finally the water reached the top. At last, the crow could drink and quench his thirst.

Moral of the Story: Necessity is the mother of invention. With intelligence, patience, and effort, even the trickiest problems can be solved.
