Session Sensation: An IT Admin's Guide to OSI Layer 5

OSI layer five is a complex but remarkably interesting layer where protocols like RPC, Winsock and many more exist and run. Layer 5 is about synchronization of data, establishing, maintaining, and ending communications. You will learn about H.245, iSNS, SMB, RTCP, and another layer five protocols. We will explore how Windows 10 implements layer five. We will use tools to view and expose protocols operating at Layer 5. Enjoy learning some new concepts in Layer 5.
