This Italian-born composer spent many years in England, working as singing teacher to the royal family and organising musical performances for the entertainment of Queen Victoria. Accompanied by pianist Sophia Muñoz, Tetelman gives ardent voice to a lover longing for his “beloved ideal” to return to him.
