今回は祇園祭の「山鉾曳き初め」を見にいきました。曳き初めは山鉾巡行に先立ち、組み立てたばかりの山鉾を動かす行事です。本番さながらの迫力でとても盛り上がります。ぜひ動画でその雰囲気をお楽しみください。

In this video, I went to see an event called "Yamahoko Hikizome" at the Gion Festival in Kyoto, Japan. This event is an event to move the assembled Yamahoko before the parade of Yamahoko to be held on July 17th. It is very exciting with the power just like the real performance.
