FAA HBCU Initiative Overview

The FAA Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Initiative Program was created to establish relationships with HBCUs, particularly those with Aerospace and Aviation programs. The committee develops and executes initiatives and events to share information about FAA programs, grants, career opportunities and Collegiate Training Initiatives that can benefit HBCUs and their students.

The goal of the FAA-HBCU Initiative is to foster a sustainable, mutually beneficial relationship with HBCUs, supporting Executive Order 14041, creating a pipeline of aerospace professionals, increasing awareness of the FAA’s position in the Aerospace industry.
