2024 IALD College of Fellows Inductee: Victor Palacio, FIALD, CLD

The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) is thrilled to announce the induction of lighting designer Victor Palacio, FIALD, CLD, into the prestigious IALD College of Fellows.

This distinguished honor recognizes Palacio’s exceptional contributions to lighting design and the IALD, and his unwavering commitment to advancing the profession.

Palacio was formally inducted on Friday, October 18, 2024, during the opening session of the IALD Enlighten Americas 2024 conference in San Diego, California. The College of Fellows comprises a select group of lighting designers who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership, innovation, contribution to the association, and a significant impact on the industry.

By awarding the designation of Fellow, the Association recognizes and honors outstanding contributions and achievements in lighting design, service to the profession, and service to the IALD itself. Acceptance into the College is determined by committee, and is based on evaluations of professional membership tenure, contributions to the IALD, achievements in the field of lighting design, leadership within the profession, and advancement of knowledge.
