Roseberys Presents: Leighton House

#AntiqueMasterpieces"Leighton House is the former home and studio of the leading Victorian artist Frederic, Lord Leighton. The house is a representation of wealthy Victorian collecting habits and Orientalist taste, featuring excellent use of tiles, ceramics, and textiles inspired by Leighton's travels to Turkey, Syria, and Egypt.

Find the late 16th/early 17th century Ottoman Turkey 'Damascus' pottery tile and 18th century embroidered towels, as well as a selection of Iznik pottery, including an original 16th-century piece and a 19th-century reproduction in Roseberys' Antiquities, Islamic, and Indian Arts auction.
