Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz stopped mid-speech at a rally in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on Wednesday when he heard someone calling for help.
The rallygoer said they were too hot, and Walz asked for someone to help and tried to get them some water. According to Donte Mills, Democratic political strategist, trial attorney, and founding partner at Mills and Edwards, the episode shows that Walz is “a people person” mindful of those around him.
