This program features selected members of the Bethesda Green Business Incubator. This is a special business development unique in its focuses upon creating 'green' businesses and organizations. This incubator featuring 'green' technologies, services, and products is serving as a model for five other such new incubators around the United States. Members being featured in this program have benefited from the combination of services offered by the Bethesda Green Business Incubator located in Montgomery County, Maryland.

The mission of the Maryland Energy and Sustainability Cooperative is simple: to serve its members in meeting the goals of going green, reducing energy, building community resources, and respecting the funds of the organization. The Coop leaders has the passion for treating the environment with care and helping community members join that effort. Having a sustainable standard of living is important. It is important to have easy access to information and resources to maintain- or increase- ones standard of living while going green. The long-term goal is to become a national collaborative organization encompassing localized sustainability cooperatives. The Maryland Energy & Sustainability Cooperative is the foundation of this effort.
