Vibrant Flower Vase Embroidery Design: Step-by-Step Tutorial

We start by stitching the leaves with heavy chain stitch, using two shades of green floss. Next, I began with the flowers, filling some petals with long and short stitch using two shades of pink floss and cast-on stitch. The highlight of the project is the three 3D flowers. I started with detached buttonhole stitch for the flower centers and French knots for the stamens. For the petals, I stitched on felt fabric separately and cut them out. I transferred the petal shapes onto red felt fabric with carbon paper and used yellow floss with 2 strands for chain stitch on the petals. Finally, I stitched the petals together around the stamens to create an amazing 3D effect.
