Hanfu, Traditional clothing fashion becomes new tourist draw for China's ancient capital #汉服

Hanfu, the traditional clothing worn by the Han ethnic group in China, is making a comeback, especially in central China’s Luoyang.

The ancient city, once the cradle of Chinese civilization, is putting a modern spin on its historic past with cultural events and festivals, and all things Hanfu.

Tourists can choose styles from various dynasties, and some get hair and make-up to match.

Then it’s time to tour the city’s landmarks and, of course, pose for photos.
The Hanfu trend has become so popular that everyday citizens, and even bus drivers, are sporting the look.

According to a Chinese research firm, China’s Hanfu market reached about 1.8 billion U.S. dollars last year and is expected to hit 2.7 billion by 2025.
