Australians ‘know they’re paying more’ under Labor: Peter Dutton

"Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says Australians “know they’re paying more” under a Labor government.

Mr Dutton pointed out “every business” is experiencing higher input costs.

“That’s the reality – the farmer who pays more for fertiliser because it’s energy intensive in terms of manufacturing fertiliser,” the Opposition Leader said during a media conference on Wednesday.

“They’re paying more for their cold room storage; the jam manufacturer is paying more for the glass jar.

“All of that ultimately gets passed onto consumers.”"
