Chinese Traditional Story: The Story of Ginseng

Many years ago, there was a temple in Yun Meng Mountain in Shandong Province. Two monks lived in the temple, a master and his disciple. The old monk did not diligently cultivate nor did he work hard. He also abused the little monk. Thus, the little monk was thin and weak. One day, the old monk went down the mountain, once again leaving the little monk to do all the work. Suddenly, a child wearing a red bellyband appeared and began helping the little monk. When the old monk returned, the child disappeared. This went on for quite long time. When the old monk left, the child would appear again and help the little monk. No matter how heavy the workload the old monk gave him, he was able to finish everything.
