Jan is the Founder and CEO of World History Encyclopedia, leading the non-profit organization on its mission to engage people with cultural heritage and to improve history education worldwide.

He has worked in the field of history-related digital media since 2006 and holds an MA in War Studies from King's College London as well as a BA in Journalism from the University of East London.
