Walsh fights against ESSB 6058 linking Washington's carbon market with California and Quebec

Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, expresses his opposition to ESSB 6058 on the House floor. Under the bill, Washington's carbon market will be linked with the carbon market of California and Quebec. Despite offering several amendments during the debate to alleviate the financial burden on taxpayers, the Democratic party voted to pass the bill. Unfortunately, every amendment offered by Republicans was rejected.
