MY HERO ACADEMIA Villains as DRAGONS?! pt 1 (Lore and Speedpaint)
It's been a while since I have put anything Dragon related on the channel, and I wanted to do something My Hero Academia themed. The result is My Hero Academia Villains as Dragons.
I had a lot of fun coming up with the Lore and doing the speedpaint for this illustration of Toya Todoroki AKA Dabi from My Hero Academia. I think he is an awesome villain and I hope I have done him justice on this design as well as incorporating his traits and features into the DabiToya Dragon.

DabiToya Dragon

This dragon is a strange one, whereas many of the dragons of the realm are immune to their flames, the flames of this particular dragon are fuelled by its emotions and become more powerful the stronger its emotions are... but this perhaps is not the strangest feature of this dragon.
The dabiToya has flames so powerful that it can even burn and injure its own body. Now, this is rare indeed as most dragons are unable to be hurt by their flames. Because the flames of the dabiToya are so powerful and so intense, almost anything in the path of this blast will be instantly incinerated except the skin of the toughest dragons in the realm.
Leaving nothing but ash in its wake this dragon has earned the nickname Cremation
This dragon prefers long-range combat and is able to shoot blasts of the amazing blue flames over large distances to minimize the damage it does to its own body. For a long time, this dragon was thought to be weak in close combat until the day, a group of adventurers witnessed just how amazing and terrifying this dragon was in close combat.
Not only was the blasts true power visible at close range, but it was also strong enough to make the land shake with the impact. But despite this, the adventures were in aww at something they had never imagined the dragon was capable of, the dabiToya had amazing control over the flames it produced.
The proof of this was when the dabiToya created a wall of flames around the dragon it was fighting trapping it as it opened its mouth wide and fired a gigantic fire blast. When the blast hit the wall of fire it created a giant cylinder of blue flames heading up to the sky with a crackling roar. When the flames had dissipated, all that was left was a pile of ash in the middle of the scorched ring of land left by the gigantic flame column.
For this one, I wanted to have the very recognisable areas of burnt skin with a staple element under the eyes and on the body. I also wanted to have the blue flames around the dragon to show its control as well as have it in a pose where you can see it ready to shoot a blast out of its open mouth.
