Commercialization Programs Powered by OTT

In today's fast-paced world of technological advancement, the role of the Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) at the Department of Energy (DOE) is more important than ever. Our core mission is to bridge the gap between DOE, our National Laboratories, and the private sector, with a focus on speeding up the market adoption of innovative technologies.

Successful commercialization relies on a well-integrated network of support, which we've diligently developed at OTT. A key aspect of our approach is the implementation of ongoing funding programs, which allows us to directly incentivize and accelerate commercialization efforts. Our efforts are centered around three main areas: 1) speeding up the commercialization of clean energy technologies, 2) supporting energy entrepreneurs, and 3) fostering regional innovation clusters.
