Mold is the biggest killer of bathrooms. Vancouver's wet and rainy winters, outdated exhaust fans, and improper use can cause serious damage to bathrooms. In this case, the ceilings, footings, and walls were damp and moldy, the baseboards were seeped for a long time, and the sanitary materials were damaged. Through the masters' skillful hands, they were completely remodeled and became beautiful and generous.

Moldy treatment
For the mold on the wall, most decoration unions choose to cover it with paint. But this is just a way to save time and reduce costs. For severe mildew, the correct solution is the drywall fully replaced . After the drywall is removed, the structure can be further inspected, the exhaust ducts can be renewed, and the hidden danger of moisture can be completely eliminated. The conscience and professionalism of the constructer are far more important than the low price!

Converted bathtub to shower room
Remodeling the bathtub into a shower room is a trend of decoration in recent years. With the same unit space, the shower room has the advantages of relatively spaciousness, quick release of moisture, and easy cleaning. Especially in rental units, shower rooms are relatively durable. Based on the Canadian architectural structure, the collocation of fiberglass shower base, and tile back backsplash wall is the best choice which is both beautiful and durable.

Floor material
When the budget permits, tiles are still the first choice for the ground. The popular SPC vinyl floor in recent years is also a good choice. However, SPC has very high requirements on the ground level. If the ground is not level, there will be floating problems. The floor of this venue is made of black stone tiles, which looks atmospheric, and is resistant to dirt and non-slip. It is a very good choice.

Sink cabinet
The general choices are custom-made cabinets and integrated cabinets. The custom-made cabinets are similar to the kitchen practice. After completion, the sides are closed, the bottom is closed, and it is beautiful, but the cost is high. The cost of the integrated cabinet is low, but the ground and wall seams are still visible after completion. Therefore, before installation, it is necessary to modify the waterway, repair the wall, and improve the ground under the cabinet in order to be beautiful. In this case, the guest used an integrated cabinet, but with the overall planning and the skillful hands of masters, the rendering effect was very ideal.

Bathroom decoration is a matter of conscience, and the real details are mostly invisible. Before choosing a decoration unit, you should care more about the professional performance of the master, the arrangement of the overall planning, the selection of materials, etc. The successful completion of the project and the beautiful and durable finished products are the common expectations of all. 發霉是浴室的最大殺手。冬季潮濕多雨的溫哥華、老舊的排風扇、和不當的使用習慣，將造成浴室的嚴重的傷害。在本場案例中的二間浴室，天花板、地腳線、牆面受潮發霉，地面木板長期滲水、衛材損壞….經過師傅們的巧手，徹底大改造，變得美觀又大方。

發霉的處理
對於牆面的發霉，大多裝修工會選擇油漆覆蓋。但這只是省事壓成本的作法。對於嚴重發霉，灰牆要全面更新，才是正確的解方。拆除灰板後，也才能更進一步檢查結構、重新更新排風管道，徹底消除潮濕隱患。施工人員的良心及專業，遠比低價更重要！

浴缸改造淋浴
將浴缸改造成淋浴房，是近年裝修趨勢。同樣單位空間，淋浴房有相對寬敞、排出濕氣快、清潔容易…等優點。尤其是出租單位，淋浴房相對耐用許多。以加拿大的建築結構，淋浴房採用玻璃纖維底座，加磁磚背牆最佳，既美觀又耐用。

關於淋浴底座
以木結構的房屋來說，玻璃纖維底座往往可靠性更佳。水泥的底座感覺上堅硬厚重，但木結構的房子，總是存在一定的彈性形變。所以，水泥底座因結構問題，發生微裂痕漏水，是十分常見的問題。相比起來，玻纖底座就沒有這方面的問題。

地面材料
在預算許可的情形下，磁磚仍是地面首選。近年來流行的SPC vinyl 地板，也是不錯的選擇。但SPC對地面水平的要求十分高，如果地面不平，會有浮動的問題。本場地面就是採用黑石紋的磁磚，看起來大氣，用起來耐髒防滑，是十分不錯的選擇。

洗手櫥櫃
一般的選擇有訂制櫃及一體櫃，訂制櫃類似廚房的做法，完成後合邊、收底、無縫，整體美觀，但造價較高。一體櫃成本低，但做完仍可見地面、牆縫，所以，安裝前需事先修改水路、修整牆面、地面也要完善櫃下，才能做到美觀。本場案例，客人使用一體櫃，但在整體的規劃和師傅的巧手下，呈現效果十分理想。

浴室裝修是個良心活，真正的細節，大多在看不到的地方，選擇裝修單位前，應多瞭解師傅專業表現、對整體規劃的安排、材料的選擇….等細節。工程順利完成、成品美觀耐用，才是大家共同的期待。最後，祝福本次屋主閣家幸福，出租單位遇到好租客，順利出租。
