When I started in permaculture, reading all the books, listening to podcasts, watching movies and youtube, I came up with strategies on how to start my food forest. Now that I'm ~7 years into this, these are some ways that I would have changed the way I started my food forest. These tips can be great if you are just getting started.

Keep in mind, we're probably about 10 years away from major disruptions to live. Climate change, economy, end of oil, energy scarcity, refugee crisis, food scarcity, and more. Starting a food forest now, you still have time to secure major resilience in your life, and your family's future.
