One year ago, tens of thousands of people in over 20 major cities across 21 provinces of China, including Shanghai and Beijing, took to the streets to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) "zero-COVID" policy. Many condemned the dictatorial rule of the CCP, with some even chanting slogans like "Down with the CCP" and "We want human rights."
