Rep. Gina Mosbrucker discusses fentanyl crisis with Camp Hope Yakima homeless - Nov. 8, 2023

Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, R-Goldendale, is touring communities in the 14th District that have been hit hard by the fentanyl crisis. Tuesday night, she stopped at Camp Hope in Yakima to hear from people who had experience with both homelessness and addiction.

More than 250 people have died of an overdose in Yakima County in the past three years. Mosbrucker says the drug crisis is affecting families in communities throughout Washington state, calling it "a nightmare."

Mosbrucker will be using what she learned at Camp Hope to help with legislation on the fentanyl crisis she is working on for the upcoming session.
