Kotobukiya Hexa Gear - Block Base DX Head Quarters - Action Figure Base Diorama Review
I've been wanting a base set to pose my diecast figures and cars and finally got my hands on Kotobukiya Hexa Gear - Block Base sets. It took me so long to build, around 4 hours because alot of time was used to manually clip all the parts out of the plastic model kit sets. This is the most preparation I've ever done for a YT video and included nearly 3 hours of clipping after my review because I went through all that effort.
Overall it looks good in a futuristic military base style but the design of it isn't as versatile as Lego even though it is modular and can be built in different ways. It's for 1/24 scale figures, but I put my 1/64 figures in there to save space. The floor and wall panels have many features on them to make it a great backdrop for action figures and many ports for poseability.
In the next video I will compare this base set to the Wild Kids action figure base set, and then back to diecast cars.
