120 Miles Solo Kayak Camping the Au Sable River

I embark on my biggest adventure ever, kayak camping the whole 120 mile Au Sable River in Michigan. After learning about the Au Sable River Canoe Marathon last year, a 120 mile 2 person team canoe race that happens annually the last weekend in July, I knew I had to attempt the full river solo. The competitors may do it in 14 hours but I'll start with 5 days which will be more than enough. I'll have to portage 6 dams along the way and camp 4 nights on the banks of the mighty river for this once in a lifetime journey.
