Secrets of History - Charlottenburg Palace

Charlottenburg Palace is a Baroque-style castle located in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. Its construction began in 1695 by the architect Nering (1659-1695) and was completed in 1713. It is the largest palace in Berlin, Germany. Many kings lived there such as King Frederick William I of Prussia (1688 -1740) or King Frederick II of Prussia (1712 -1740).
