Diving in Providencia, Colombia... The clear waters of San Andres and Providencia islands with their untouched coral reefs are perfect for divers of all levels. The islands’ most prominent attractions are to be found under the sea, When to go to San Andres and Providencia The scuba diving can be done all year round. The rainy season runs between January and June and strong winds are in this area during the months of June and July. The air temperature varies from 17C/63F to 33C/91F. The water temperature stays between 27C/80F and 30C/86F. The visibility is great, around 30m/98ft, except during the rainy season when it goes down to 10m/33ft. The average depth of the sites varies from 6m/20ft to 40m/130ft
