Building the Parent Teacher Connection

This seminar provides tips for both parents and educators on how to effectively communicate with one another about differentiated assignments for gifted students. Additional resources for educators and parents were identified.

Katie Hickox, M.A., has worked with K-12 gifted students for twelve years. In addition to her role as an Advanced Placement literature teacher, she teaches at UC Irvine Extension and presents on gifted education topics at professional conferences.
