The FIA has come under heavy scrutiny for suggesting they may increase Lewis Hamilton's penalty for walking across the track in Qatar due to his "role model status". This comes despite two similar incidents from Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez went unpunished, and even uninvestigated (as far as I am aware) over the previous two seasons. Is Hamilton treated differently by the governing body of Formula 1 to other drivers?
