China's economic recession has caused many young people to face unemployment, and many young men and women have no choice but to "lie flat." Lying flat is a movement about doing nothing, or doing the bare minimum to get by, and striving for nothing more than what is essential for survival. Along with "lying flat," the number of young people choosing to be "full-time children" is also increasing. Recently, a song about the lying flat movement called "I Kneel Forever in the Temple of Wealth" has become popular on the Chinese internet.
