Today we are going to discuss the dark side of whisky and that is overhyped and overpriced bottles. As a consumer, you can only try to make the smartest choice on how to spend your money on whisky. But right now I do feel the price inflation on certain whisky brands had gone out of control that it doesn't make sense to buy them anymore. So I would suggest not to chase that "limited" edition bottle since distilleries will keep releasing them every so often. Therefore, if you don't buy it now that is fine, wait for the price to drop on an overhyped and overpriced whisky then buy it if you really want it.
