@WildAbundance is a unique skills education center nestled in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, just outside Asheville. In-person workshops offer hands-on experience with excellent teachers -- great training for those into DIY projects. Topics include basic and advanced carpentry, tiny house construction, timber framing, gardening, permaculture, foraging, wildcrafting, rewilding, and herbal medicine-making to help you live more sustainably. If you seek a more fulfilling lifestyle and want to experience the empowerment that comes from learning the skills to build your dreams, Wild Abundance is an amazing resource. Some classes are just for women, and this school attracts interesting, diverse, and positive people from all over.
The founder, Natalie Bogwalker, is a Dear Friend and colleague and she has created an environment with deep integrity. Of all the places I have visited, Wild Abundance shines out as a place where I recommend to learn the skills to live sustainably and reconnect with Earth.
