Chinese county offers 'cash reward' for newlyweds if bride is aged 25 or younger

A county in eastern China is trying to encourage earlier marriages by offering an incentive that all newlywed couples can appreciate: cash.

According to Reuters, the "cash reward" of 1,000 yuan ($137) will be given to couples if the bride is aged 25 or younger.
