手をとりあって　Teo Torriatte 【Let Us Cling Together】

クイーンの「手をとりあって」- Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together) を25絃箏と17絃箏の多重録音で編曲、演奏しました。
2020年のクイーン来日記念ツアーでも演奏されたこの曲。
音楽が国境なく人々へ与える力・感動は何物にも代えがたい存在だということ、困難に立ち向かい前向きに進もうというメッセージが強く表れており、
日本語での歌詞はあたたかさが溢れていると思います。
実際に7パートにして演奏していますが、映像ではよりわかりやすく4パートにまとめています。
キーが変わるところは柱（白い駒のようなもの）を動かし、♭から♯へ、♯から♭へ…と切り替えて演奏しています。箏の特徴であり、不便なところでもあります。
しかし、箏は技法が沢山あるところが長所だとも思います。今作はそれをふんだんに用いて編曲に活かしました。

終戦記念日というこの日に、全世界から戦争がなくなり、まさに「手をとりあって」生きて行ける日々になってほしいと思います。

Teo Torriatte 【Let Us Cling Together】
I arranged and performed Queen's "Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together)" using a combination of 25-string and 17-string kotos in a multi-track recording.
This song, which was also performed during Queen's commemorative tour in Japan in 2020, demonstrates the undeniable power and impact that music has on people, transcending borders. It carries a strong message of facing difficulties and moving forward with a positive attitude.
The lyrics in Japanese are filled with warmth and tenderness.
In the actual performance, I divided it into seven parts, but for the video, I condensed it into four parts to make it easier to follow.
A distinctive characteristic of the koto is changing keys by moving the bridges (white pegs) to transition from flat (♭) to sharp (♯), and vice versa. This aspect can be both unique and challenging.
However, I believe that the koto's versatility lies in its many techniques. I utilized these techniques abundantly in the arrangement of this piece.

On this day of the Remembrance of the End of War, I hope for a world without war, where people from all around the globe can truly live "hand in hand."
