Department of State's 2022 Losar Reception

The Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues shares a welcome of the Tibetan new year with remarks, followed by the Secretary of State.  The Representative of the Tibetan Central Administration to the United States, Namgyal Choedup, then provides a statement on behalf of Losar.  Afterwards, the program highlights a glimpse of Tibetan culture -- with a song by the Tibetan Association of Santa Fe's Weekend Tibetan School, dance performance by Tibet-American children, and messages from students of the Tibetan Scholarship program.
