EXPLORING KAMAKURA GREAT BUDDHA STATUE AND HASEDERA TEMPLE
Today I went to Kamakura Daibutsu Temple where the Kamakura Great Buddha is located. The Great Buddha statue was cast in bronze in 1252. It's always a must stop location while I am in Japan. I love the small town feel you get in kamakura and the street food.
Also on today's exploring of the Kamakura area I went to Hasedera Temple with its amazing views and waterfalls all around to the cave near the entrance this is easily my favorite temple I have been to in Japan.
My last stop of the day took me to Kamakura Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gū shrine and this place is always a great visit free to go to and plenty to see.
