CAMBODIA \\ EPIC ANGKOR WAT SUPERMOON & SUNRISE // VLOG #33

Wow. We have wanted to visit the timeless ruins or Angkor Wat forever. This is definitely a bucklist item that was made even greater by the unique phenomenon of a New Years Day Supermoon rising over Angkor Wat. Have we mentioned, "Wow?" Our friend Greg flew in from Mexico to grab a cup of coffee with us and couldn't resist staying to tour the epic ruins of Angkor Wat with us. The morning after the Supermoon, we left way to early in the morning to watch sunrise over Angkor Wat in an attempt to get that iconic shot. Throngs of tourists is usually an instant turn off for us but, in this case, Angkor Wat is Angkor Wat no matter how many other people are there. After getting some great shots, we tour Angkor Thom, Ta Prahm and some of the other insanely amazing ruins in this enormous archaeological site. Angkor Wat was recently rated the #1 UNESCO World Heritage Site by TripAdvisor but it doesn't need ratings, or Tomb Raider being filmed here, to make this an essential bucket list item. This is the largest religious landmark in the world and includes ingenious engineering that has only recently been appreciated. If you haven't been to Angkor Wat, you should go. Really. Now. Get going!!
