August Garden Tour
This month's garden tour features a lot of new plants, new growth and a lot of new layouts and garden designs. I started off showing some gorgeous variegated caladiums, then my cold hardy tropicals like the butterfly gingers. My elephant ear garden is growing well, the colocasia and alocasias are flourishing, finally! I talked about some of my cactus and succulents and showed the new tree, the green giant arborvitae. Next I moved onto more of the tropical plants and houseplants. The orchids have buds, the monstera adansonii and the bromeliads are doing quite well. I put my stromanthe triostar in a floating planter and showed how massive my monster deliciosa thai constellation has gotten. I've had this variegated monstera for many years, and it is finally a monster of a monstera. Lastly I got in the pool for a better look at the pool platers, which are my favorite planters of 2020.
