Pickerel River - Two Night Canoe Trip

I took my girlfriend down the Pickerel River for a couple nights in the backcountry. The route proved to be the perfect trip for introducing someone to Ontario camping or for a leisurely weekend paddle. Part of the French River Provincial Park

The route did not include a SINGLE portage but still provided privacy and a 3 km narrow and back bay all to ourselves!
