Patio Cleaning | Planting Oso Easy Italian Ice Roses | Succulent Planters & Tropical Plant Container
I noticed when getting the screenshot of the Roses that Garden Answer has a video on the Oso Easy Italian Ice Roses from Proven Winners, So I'll link their video below the description for anyone who wants more details. I didn't dedicate too much time to talking about them since they aren't in flower and don't look particularly pretty when they are between bloom cycles.
This week I was mostly focused on finishing clean up from last week's storm and getting things planted. I got a bunch of houseplants repotted and moved from under the mimosa tree to help the area appear more clean and tidy. Next I planted up several landscape roses, the Oso Easy Italian Ice Roses from Proven Winners are my favorite landscape roses, I'm so happy to finally have them in the garden! I also planted a few heliconias in the mix, just because I have them and wanted a drift of them somewhere in the garden. The height difference is off between them and the landscape roses, but the roses aren't likely to do much this year anyway, so no harm in them being a little blocked. I did move the rose and swap it with the impatiens that were next to it, and it looks much better. Following the rose planting, I gathered a bunch of my loose succulents and combined them into a succulent arrangement. I love succulents and succulent gardens, these are a little messy, but they will fill out nicely. I talked briefly about propagating succulents such as the echeveria and aeonium. Stretched out succulents are so easy to fix and get rooted, there wasn't a need to go into too much detail. Lastly I potted up a shallow bowl container with some sun loving annuals like heliconias, ruellia and lemon coral sedum. I also pruned my Parlor palm, but none of that was on camera since it overheated. :) It looks cute though!
