A Chinese company with $300 million in annual revenue: the first one to close due to flattery?

These are snapshots of China's large and small companies, and a miniature of Red China. In China's officialdom, sycophancy is an essential skill of survival.
On Dec.9, 2021, China's national TV station reported that the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision had opened a case against a Beauty and Hair company with annual revenues of 314 million USD.
If this company fails to withstand the investigation and ends up closing down, it may be the first company in China to go out of business because of sycophancy.
