Hydrangea Pruning
Hydrangea Pruning. Today I pruned my Limelight Paniculata Hydrangea for the first time, after planting it last Autumn. People worry about doing this, as some hydrangeas bloom on old wood, and others on new wood. If you know the name of your hydrangea you can of course Google to find out. If you don’t know the name and are unsure, then it might be best to skip pruning for one year so you can study your hydrangea through the year to find out which type it could be. Pruning itself is very simple and I show you what to do in this video. Add fertiliser and water, once you’ve finished pruning by about 1/3rd. And you’re good to go!
