When teachers at his elementary school came to his class and confirmed he stutters, it began years of therapy, with his mom taking him to different therapists throughout his school years.

Stuttering didn’t stop Lalo from public speaking and throughout his work life, he realized teaching was something he really enjoyed, so on a complete whim, he applied to be a trainer with CBT Nuggets.
