PVC Bow Gallery - 40 Pound 3/4" Schedule 40 Green PVC Bow - February 2015

Here's a bow I built about a month ago. This one was done over a wood fire, sort of as a fun survival scenario build. No power tools, no electricity. I did use a flattening jig to taper the limbs and crease the tips, but everything else was by hand and eye.

The bow draws 40#@28" and has a leather lace wrapped handle. It does have a bit of handshock, but it's overall a nice shooter. It's made of 3/4" green furniture grade PVC pipe.
