The Wild Horses of Wyoming and One Last Tank of Gas to Close This Adventure Out!
Anytime Lindsay can be around horses, particularly wild horses, we consider it a good day. And after being disappointed at not being able to visit the wild horses of the Sand Wash Basin outside of Craig, Colorado we made a point to find wild horses as we trekked north into Wyoming.
This decision did not disappoint! And while we were hammered by wind and cold weather, the horses were plenty.
On our final leg of a 6-month journey through Baja toward our summer in Thermopolis, Wyoming, we made one last stop in one of our favorite towns - Lander, Wyoming. Camping in the city park is free and permissible for 3 days. This gave us a chance to run some errands and put the final tank of gas in the RV as we were on the home stretch to our return to Thermopolis, Wyoming.
