Slow traveling can be achieved by incorporating any or all of the basic principles of slow living, namely be self-sufficient and source local, organic and wholesome produce.

Furthermore, you need to be intentional about what you will be doing and ‘be’ there while you are doing it. Simply put, slow down and enjoy what you are doing while you are doing it.

In this week’s video there are some more snippets from recent travel time that we had
. In the first segment we spent time in the beautiful village of Nieu-Bethesda, where we were left with a sense of being stuck in some bygone era. Here, nestled at the foot of the Sneeuberge, this little town has dirt roads, donkey carts and horses roaming the streets.

In the second part of the video we stop by Ludwig’s roses and La Rosa Blu Café at the Rosenhof Estate. This is a working rose and lavender farm surrounded by the beautiful Outeniqua mountains.
The restaurant and wedding venue has all these charming vintage decor elements.

Hello,

My name is Elmirí and you are welcome to join me as I explore the workings of a more intentionally natural and seasonally sustainable way of life, better known as ‘slow living’.

Thank you for watching and hope to see you again on the next one.
