Gigi Rüf, a professional snowboarder from Bregenzerwald in Vorarlberg, shows us the ski resort he grew up with.

In Damüls Mellau he knows every rock and this is where his heart lies. Gigi has seen a lot of different resorts throughout his career, but nowhere is like home.

His perfect day would start by taking the cable car to the top of Hohes Licht and hiking to the Hohen Blanken peak for an incredible view over the region. As a father, the snowpark is very important to him, because his children have started snowboarding too.

Skiers and boarders of all levels appreciate the regions’ dazzling panoramas and the combination of sunny south-facing and snow-sure north-facing pistes. In Damüls, you can hit the slopes from your front door. From Mellau, skiers take the Mellaubahn cable car to reach the ski area in minutes.
