British Airways Business Class Lounge Tour (LHR)

Hey guys, well we are on our way home from the UK, negative COVID tests in hand. Even though I was only flying business, because the airport was so empty, I was treated to first class check in. Check out that boarding pass.

Now the British Airways south lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5 is open, surprisingly. You first go down stairs and follow the signs, then you go up these escalators, the first floor you get to is a first class lounge, so you go up again, past this very big questionable art installation to the business class lounge. There is a cool model of the A380 outside. You can use this lounge if you are flying British Airways Business Class or are a One World Sapphire or Emerald member, you can’t get in with Priority pass or any similar program.

This is a big lounge, with big windows for plane spotting, nice comfy leather chairs, wireless charging pads, I’ve actually never used one of those before, they had these really cool posters of vintage planes on the walls, that really looks like it was the golden age of plane travel, although I would still take the BS club suite over that rickety old thing, and even though it was pretty empty, there was still plenty of booze on offer. The British always keep an ample supply of alcohol on hand.
