Control Slugs & Snails

Control Slugs & Snails with this Garlic Wash recipe.

1. Crush 2 large garlic bulbs.
2. Add to 1 litre of boiling water in a pan.
3. Boil for 10 minutes.
4. Leave to cool outside.
5. Strain through a sieve.
6. Store the garlic wash in a spray bottle.
7. Spray the leaves of affected plants a couple of times a week.

After taking all the time to lift and divide my hostas, I was dismayed to see slug and snail damage on the leaves only a few days later. So I saw this Garlic Wash recipe on Facebook and thought I would give it a try.

I will keep you updated with the progress and keeping my fingers crossed that this will solve the problem.
