Gan Jing World is pleased to announce the #BeKindBeCool School Edition – Kindness Art Competition 2025, a dedicated opportunity for students in grades 1 through 12 to express kindness through creativity. This School Edition is part of the broader #BeKindBeCool global kindness event and offers schools an accessible, meaningful way to engage students in a global celebration of positive values.

Since 2022, Gan Jing World's global kindness events have shown remarkable impact across schools, improving student morale, strengthening peer relationships, and helping to build more supportive school environments. The School Edition aims to continue this momentum by inviting students to reflect on and illustrate what kindness means to them.

About The Competition
The Kindness Art Competition invites students to create original artwork, or posters centered on the theme “Acts of kindness — big or small.” Students may use any two-dimensional medium, including pencil, crayon, watercolor, marker, or mixed media.

A Teacher's Guide and entry form are available to assist schools in running the project and to make it easy to introduce the theme, inspire creative ideas, and collect submissions.

Awards and Recognition
The School Edition awards four first prizes of $500, one in each grade division: 1–3, 4–6, 7–9, and 10–12. In addition, ten students from each division will receive one year of Gan Jing Kids Streaming (valued at $120).
Gan Jing Kids is the #1 safe platform for values-based learning and fun, featuring a triple-layered safety model and content built around six educational values.

Beyond the prizes, selected artworks may be featured in several special recognitions. These include a billboard showcase in Times Square, New York during the 2026 Kindness Awards season, participation in a public art exhibition, and acknowledgment through student and school certificates. Schools and students may also receive media coverage highlighting their contributions to the kindness movement.

Event Rules
1. Entries must be submitted within the event duration.
2. Entries must be original and not infringe on any trademark or copyright claims.
3. Entries must be appropriate and free from offensive or harmful content. Gan Jing World reserves the right to exclude entries that conflict with the principles of GanJingWorld.com and this event.
4. Entry into this event constitutes your acceptance of the Event Rules.
5. Contest enrollment is automatic upon posting entries with the event hashtags.
6. Entrants must possess the exclusive rights to posted entries and are responsible for having obtained any necessary permission from the subjects shown in the entries and the organization to which it applies, in accordance with applicable law.
7. If any prize winners are determined not to be eligible, the prize will be awarded to the next qualifying participant in place for that category.
8. If a winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made to do so, Gan Jing World reserves the right to select the next best entry.
9. Gan Jing World’s decision will be final. Any attempt by an entrant to influence the result or subvert the contest will lead to immediate disqualification.
