First and foremost, I would like to wish all our friends a Happy Thanksgiving! I am grateful for your continuous support, which has made our journey at Ganjing World so remarkable. As a GanjingWorld influencer education channel, on this special day, I'd like to share some valuable tips with you as a token of my gratitude to the Ganjing World community.
As a new channel (with less than 1000 Ganjing World fans), you are still in the process of establishing your unique style and channel theme. At this stage, it's essential to gain attention through various promotional methods because attention leads to popularity, popularity leads to engagement, engagement leads to feedback and data, which will help you understand how to improve your channel's management and in which direction to evolve. Therefore, during the infancy of your channel, if you don't have professional marketing and branding experience, apart from working hard on various content experiments, it's vital to learn how to ride on trending topics.
I hope that none of our friends at Ganjing World has the misconception that riding on trending topics or becoming an internet celebrity is something trivial. Please understand that it's not about boosting your own popularity or traffic; it's about making your channel a profession for the benefit of many more people. If, by this point in time, you still hold such a mindset within the Ganjing World community, I find it rather unfortunate. If that's the case, please consider sorting out your perspective as soon as possible, as it won't be of any benefit to your growth or to the world!
In fact, even super influencers, like celebrity influencers, pay close attention to trending topics and trends. Ancient Chinese people believe that the will of the people is akin to the will of heaven, and I firmly believe in this saying: when a large group of people suddenly starts paying attention to someone or something, it's by no means a random event without reasons, but rather rooted in deep-seated causes. You can consider subscribing to successful channels in relevant fields, firstly to familiarize yourself with the industry market and secondly, to grasp the trends. If you're not yet capable of conducting independent research, then following key figures in your industry or your favorite influencers will, at the very least, keep you from falling too far behind. Being a successful internet celebrity absolutely requires staying connected with social life. Unless your topic is genuinely unique and you have the ability and confidence to pave your own path among the masses, it's essential. Therefore, most of the influential figures that can be found in Ganjing World are channels I have subscribed to. You can find them in my #大V頻道 #Influencers collection.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I'll use #Thanksgiving as an example today to demonstrate how to ride on a trending topic as a professional internet celebrity.
Firstly, I searched for Chinese and English keywords related to #Thanksgiving and browsed through the Explore page. I could see that most of the content was about holiday greetings and food. I decided to include my post under these popular posts by using the #Thanksgiving tag.

While I was thinking about what Thanksgiving-related content to create, I stumbled upon a post by Yuzu's Life 悠自生活, a blogger on my Moments feed. It gave me a significant inspiration. This is why having a high-quality community is important: you can always find inspiration from your Moments!

Then, I started doing my research. By the way, I knew very little about the traditions of Thanksgiving. In fact, I don't know much about many of the topics I write about. For example, in my article on "Goodness in Turbulent Times," I had to research more than 80% of the historical facts. When someone commented that I must be very knowledgeable, I have to clarify and emphasize: I didn't write this article because I'm knowledgeable; I became knowledgeable because I wrote this article. So please, break free from the notion that you have to be an industry expert to produce professional content. I've proven this many times: starting from scratch, as long as you approach content creation with the same rigor, quest for knowledge, and dedication as an expert, you can become an expert in any field, provided you don't have any preconceived notions blocking your way. I can share examples of how to do this, much like in this case study of Thanksgiving.
First, I gathered the Chinese and English tag texts mentioned in the articles "乾淨世界素人攻略:90個熱門標籤及引流方法" and "GJW Tutorial: How To Drive Traffic Using 89 Popular Hashtags," as well as the tags I had compiled for my own channel, and put them all in one document for easy reference. Note: Chinese and English popular tags and their quantities are different, so they should be organized separately.

Then I thought, what content related to Thanksgiving is both a trending topic and relevant to my channel while staying down-to-earth? Speaking of staying down-to-earth, as long as your content revolves around "popularity, value, and sentimentality," you don't have to worry about not getting traffic. Why? Because "popularity, value, and sentimentality" constitute the ultimate driving force behind human behavior, as per the teachings of Falun Dafa, which I believe in. So, this time, I decided to leverage a "name." I looked for famous quotes about Thanksgiving and used this as an opportunity to introduce my favorite traditional culture.
Regarding the famous quotes I found online, there were various sources, and I'll explain how I filtered them:
First, I came across "35 Festive Thanksgiving Quotes to Spread Gratitude This Season," hich was from a high-end Western mainstream magazine, Town and Country. However, the famous figures quoted in it were mostly from modern times and didn't necessarily have a strong spiritual or elevated perspective. I prefer historical figures whose values align more with mine, so I quickly dismissed this article.
I also found a list of Thanksgiving quotes on Zhihu, a Chinese online community, but it lacked English translations, which would have significantly increased my research workload. So, I put it aside as a reference.
Finally, I stumbled upon an article titled "65 Inspirational And Funny Thanksgiving Quotes To Celebrate Turkey Day," which seemed to align well with my expectations. I went through all 65 quotes, selected several that fit, and checked the backgrounds of the authors. Any quotes that didn't align with the values I wanted to promote were discarded. What you see now is the Thanksgiving traditional quotes article that resulted from this process.
As for how I further promoted it, I shared that in the Thanksgiving special edition: "How to Ride the Trend in Ganjing World (Part Two)" to avoid making this post too lengthy.
I welcome you to continue subscribing and following our channel! If you encounter any issues in practical operations or have specific content topics you'd like me to share, please leave a comment. You can also create posts or articles and use the #ArielTianTian雲起時分 tag. This way, I'll promptly see them and respond, benefiting not only you but also your followers or others facing similar issues, especially when the problems are widespread. This is the best approach!
